The Assumption of The Virgin Mary
The Assumption of the Virgin Mary is celebrated worldwide on the 15th of August every year.
Therefore, this celebration is as significant as Jesus Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection.
In addition, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is celebrated as a happy and glorious day.
Christians worldwide do not celebrate Her death because She never died. Moreover, the Holy Virgin Mary slept at age 59, surrounded by all the Apostles.
Finally, the Lord raised Her to Heaven, body, spirit, and soul.
“Who, out of the excessive love He bore for you, His Mother,
whose virginal body was His first tabernacle, took that body into heaven and there, amidst the
acclaims of the angels and saints, reinfused into it your soul”
The Gateway to Heaven!
God’s Mother is the gateway to His Heavenly Kingdom. She’s the magical portal that connects our prayers to God.
If you deny His Mother, you deny God Himself and His Heavenly Kingdom.
Our Mother, Holy Virgin Mary, is not only Jesus Christ’s Mother but also all humanity’s.
This captivating, beautiful, mesmerising, and breathtakingly awe-inspiring woman is our soul’s antidote.
When you pray to Her, She heals your heart and soul and restores your soul’s connection to Her Son, Jesus.
Archangel Gabriel has written the following prayer Himself to honour Her.
- “It is truly meet and right to bless you, O Theotokos,
- Ever-blessed and most pure mother of our God.
- More honourable than the Cherubim,
- And beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim,
- Who, without corruption, gave birth to God the Word,
- True Theotokos: we magnify you.”
Also, the hymn below has been written by Saint Nectarios of Aegina, in honour of the Virgin Mary.
“O Virgin pure
O Virgin pure
O Virgin pure, immaculate,
O Lady Theotokos. (Refrain)
O fleece bedewed with every grace.
O Virgin Queen and Mother. (Refrain)
More radiant than the sun’s rays, and higher than the heavens. (Refrain)
O joy of virgin choruses, superior to the angels. (Refrain)
O brighter than the firmament and purer than the sun’s light. (Refrain)
More holy than the multitude of all the heavenly armies. (Refrain)O ever-virgin Mary of all the world, the Lady. (Refrain)
O Bride all pure, immaculate, O Lady Panagia. (Refrain)
O Mary, Bride and Queen of all, the cause of our rejoicing. (Refrain)
O noble Maiden, gracious Queen,
supremely holy Mother. (Refrain)
More honoured than the Cherubim,
beyond compare more glorious(Refrain)
Then the unbodied Seraphim transcends the angelic Thrones. (Refrain)Rejoice, the song of Cherubim rejoice,
the hymn of angels
Rejoice the ode of Seraphim; the joy of the archangels.
Rejoice, O peace and happiness and cause of our rejoicing.
O sacred chamber of the Word, the uncorrupted flower.
Rejoice, delightful Paradise of blessed life eternal.
Rejoice, O sacred Tree of life and fount of immortality.I supplicate you, Lady, now, I fervently entreat you.
O Queen of all, I earnestly implore and seek your favour.
O gracious Maiden, spotless one, O Lady Panagia.
I call upon you ardently, O holy hallowed Temple.
O help me and deliver me, protect me from the enemy.
And make me an inheritor of blessed life eternal.”

Hence, she is more important than all the Heavenly Creatures, Apostles, and Saints; her name is Panagia in Greek, which means the Holiest of Saints.

A Sacred Heart.
Her unique soul, morals, ethics, kindred spirit, and being God’s Mother are what make The Virgin Mary Blessed.
Our Mother The Holy Virgin Mary, is blessed with the power of miracles, protection, and healing.
She is the Saint and Protector of women worldwide, regardless of colour, race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
The Blessed Virgin Mary is also the Saint of motherhood.
A perfect woman serving imperfect humans.
Throughout the centuries She has performed countless miracles.
In a monastery in Kefalonia, Greece, baby snakes appear during the celebration of Her Assumption. Those snakes have a cross on their foreheads.
They emerge from behind Her Holy Icon. The Icon has been blessed by The Holy Virgin Mary Herself.
People from all over the world come to touch the snakes. They report that when you place those snakes with reverence and faith on your body, all illnesses disappear.
When the celebration of the Assumption ends, the miniature snakes disappear.
In 1953, the Holy Snakes did not appear, and a catastrophic earthquake occurred.
Therefore, when they don’t appear, people take it as a bad omen. Since then, the people of the island have prayed every year to The Holy Virgin Mary.
Believe and trust in The Holy Virgin Mary.
We should worship God and His Mother first and foremost.
God Himself has given authority to His Mother to perform miracles, protect, and heal.
She is the Queen of the universe!
Our Blessed Virgin Mary has the power to heal your heart and connect your soul to Jesus.
All prayers directed to Her are heard and manifested.

Her heart is pure gold.
Many people Christen their children in honour of Her. Mary is a very common name in many countries.
Males are given the name Panagiotis or Peter in English.
It is a huge honour to be given The Holy Virgin Mary’s name. Parents who usually do that dedicate their children to her for protection.
In conclusion.
The Blessed Virgin Mary is the world’s gateway to Heaven.
She’s the Queen of our universe and our soul’s connection to God.
Theotokos, which means Mother of God, is the Saint and Protector of women worldwide and motherhood.
A captivating, real woman who experienced childbirth and motherhood.
Our connection with Jesus is imminent when the Holy Virgin Mary intercedes for us.
Intelligent, loving, courageous, strong, determined, and devoted.
This woman should be every single girl’s role model.
All households should cherish Jesus’ Mother by showing Her their appreciation and gratitude.
If it wasn’t for Her our world wouldn’t have our Saviour Jesus Christ.
It is very difficult to praise the Holy Virgin Mary with words. No words have been created yet that can describe Her Glory and Holiness.
Pray to Her, love Her, cherish Her, and accept Her into your hearts and homes.
This special and very significant day, thank The Blessed Virgin Mary and pray to Her.
No home is complete without Jesus Christ and His Mother.
